A Gardener’s Garden in Wimbledon

This Wimbledon client is a passionate plantaholic, so this design was all about making as much room as possible for plants. A treasured tree fern was relocated from her previous house, and several of the larger existing shrubs were moved to create more privacy along the boundaries.

A curving path threads through dense, colourful planting, meaning the circular lawn at the end of the garden can only be discovered by walking through it — plants first, lawn as a reward. Roses, geums, catmint and agapanthus jostle for space alongside architectural foliage from the tree fern and acer, creating a garden that feels abundant and immersive from every angle.

I think the cat likes it too.
